CEBL Champion Honey Badgers coming to Brampton

by Marc Germanese

This is a great day for the City of Brampton and the CAA Centre.

On behalf of our ownership, management and staff, we are thrilled to welcome the Brampton Honey Badgers and the Canadian Elite Basketball league to the CAA Centre.

Partnering with a professional operator such as CEBL is a win for both the Centre and the City of Brampton.  The CEBL recognizes the importance of basketball and all that it brings to the community.  We expect that this franchise will really flourish both on and off the court.

Honey Badger fans will have the ability to watch a championship team right out of the gate. When the team takes the floor in May, they will do so as 2022 CEBL champions , a victory won while in Hamilton. Fans won’t have to wait long to see their team in action, as the Brampton Honey Badgers will represent Canada in FIBA’s, BCLA (Basketball Canada League of Americas) event in February, 2023 against Nicaragua and Mexico. All games will be played right here at the CAA Centre.

Again, a big welcome to the CEBL and the Brampton Honey Badgers.
