Hockey Helps the Homeless

by Marc Germanese

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Hockey Helps the Homeless (HHTH) and Bardown have teamed up to create an exclusive, limited edition clothing line to support Canada’s homeless.

Homeless and at-risk Canadians are being hit hard by the pandemic. Not only are they at a higher risk for contracting the virus, but many lack access to infrastructure and the supplies they need to maintain their health. Meanwhile, the shelters and front-line workers that serve them are in desperate need of funds to support their COVID-19 Emergency Needs, so they can continue to help our community’s most vulnerable. For many homeless support agencies, COVID-19 has put a tight strain on their budget and resources, as they face an increase in demand and a decrease in charitable giving.

Now, more than ever, the homeless and the organizations that serve them need our help.
Items will be available for purchase online from April 23rd – May 8th and 100% of net proceeds from the “Stay the Puck Home” campaign will stay local to support HHTH’s partner charities from coast-to-coast.
